Acid Candy

Soft sculptures and immersive installations exploring intimacy, sexuality and the body.

Acid Candy is an ongoing body of work developed through textile sculpture, installation and collaborative encounters.

What began as a series of small objects has gradually expanded into immersive environments, workshops and conversations developed alongside exhibitions.

Across different formats, the project addresses subjects often surrounded by silence, shame or discomfort, seeking to create spaces where they can be approached with curiosity rather than judgement.

Acid Candy Vol. I

First presented in 2023 at HGZ Gallery in Querétaro, Acid Candy Vol. I introduced the visual language that would later shape the project.

The exhibition marked the beginning of an ongoing exploration of softness as both material and metaphor.

ZONA MACO

Presented at ZⓈONA MACO in 2024 through HGZ Gallery, Acid Candy reached new audiences and collectors, expanding the visibility of the project.

Featured Work

Self Portrait

Created for ZⓈONA MACO 2024, Self Portrait marked the first large-scale work within Acid Candy.

Acid Candy Vol. II

Presented at Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Querétaro in 2026, Acid Candy Vol. II brought together works developed over several years into the project's largest exhibition to date.

Produced with the support of the PECDA Querétaro Grant, the exhibition expanded the project into a multi-room environment combining textile sculptures, wool drawings and cultural activities.

Guided Visits & Conversations

Alongside exhibitions, Acid Candy often gives rise to conversations with visitors, students and institutions.

These encounters become spaces for exchanging stories, questions and personal perspectives that continue to shape the project.

Touch & Interaction

Touch plays an important role in Acid Candy. Many works invite close observation, movement and physical interaction, allowing visitors to experience softness not only visually but through the body itself.
