Using close observation, color and scale, the project transforms flowers, landscapes and organic forms into images that remain intentionally open, inviting multiple readings and associations.
Georgia Studies
Developed within Georgia, we need to talk, Georgia Studies gathers small and medium-format works that serve as a space for experimentation.
Through these studies, color palettes, compositions and formal relationships gradually shape the visual language of the larger project.
Process
Each work is built layer by layer through needle felting on paper, creating soft reliefs with dyed wool fibers.
Photographs, sketches and color studies act as starting points rather than fixed references. As forms evolve, they are simplified and translated into a different material language.
Wonder Studies
As Georgia continues to evolve, recent works have begun moving beyond close observation toward broader experiences of color, atmosphere and scale.
Inspired by moments of wonder found in the natural world, these studies open new directions that may eventually inform future installations and site-specific projects.
